Curated by local musicians Judy Jacques and Sandro Donati, this exhibition explored the rich musical history of the Furneaux Islands and the deep connection between music and dance and the community.
As part of the exhibition, on 25 January 2014 an outdoor music concert was staged at the Museum, combined with the free Community Barbecue Day put on annually by Flinders Council. Thus began the annual Furneaux Islands Festival, with different local events coming together as a way of celebrating both the island's past heritage and continuing community.
